📊What We Collect
Data you provide:
- App URLs/IDs — The apps you search for (used to fetch reviews)
- API Keys — If you enter your own Gemini API key, it's stored only in your browser's local storage. We never see it or store it on our servers.
Data we generate:
- AI Analyses — When you run an analysis, we save the results (app name, review stats, AI insights) to enable sharing and caching. This helps us serve results faster and lets you share analyses with colleagues.
- Anonymous identifier — We create a hash of your IP address for rate limiting. We don't store your actual IP address.
What we DON'T collect:
- Your name, email, or account info (we don't have accounts)
- Your actual IP address
- Tracking cookies or advertising identifiers
- Your browsing history outside this site
🔧Third-Party Services
We use these services to make Review Grabber work:
- Google Gemini API — Powers the AI analysis. When you analyze reviews, the review text is sent to Google's API. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — Stores analysis results for caching and sharing. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — Hosts our website. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store — We fetch publicly available review data from Apple's RSS feeds.
🍪Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage (not cookies) to remember:
- Your Gemini API key (if you entered one)
- Your preferences (like the "use my own key" setting)
This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly use it (e.g., your API key is sent to Google when you analyze).

- All connections use HTTPS encryption
- API keys are stored only in your browser
- We don't have user accounts, so there are no passwords to breach
- Analysis data is stored with anonymous user hashes, not identifiable info
